Elevate Projects are working in partnership with our client, a reputable local provider of affordable housing, not for profit developer and registered social landlord, to appoint an experienced client side Capital Projects Contract Manager to their busy Asset Management team. Delivering one-off and major projects to upgrade or improve the housing stock and ensuring the proposed improvements are delivered in the most efficient way, you’ll be the lead Officer in Contract Management for Planned Works from design, procurement, delivery, and implementation and be responsible for CDM compliance for the team. You’ll support the Asset and Sustainability Manager on all contract and/or commercial issues and disputes and be responsible for allocated budgets, budget profiling, monitoring expenditure and reporting on monthly performance in relation to spend and works completed. Taking accountability for all information added to the Asset Database, you will ensure that all properties are maintained to Government Decent Homes standard, through the delivery of capital and cyclical programmes. The ideal candidate will : Have substantial experience at a senior level of Asset Management, Property Investment and Public Procurement. Hold a relevant management qualification, such as ILM Level 4 in Leadership and Management. Hold a relevant technical qualification, e.g. CIOB, RICS or CIH. Have demonstrable strategic experience of leading, managing, motivating and developing staff in a changing environment. Have a proven track record of managing resources, procurement activities, budgets and contracts with an ability to identify and eliminate risks, ensuring value for money and the delivery of high-quality services. Have knowledge of Building Surveying and Asset Management, Contract Management, Disrepair and HHSRS.

The Role We are seeking a skilled Damp, Mould, Repairs Surveyor to join our clients property team on a temporary basis. You will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing damp and mould issues across the housing stock, ensuring effective solutions are implemented promptly to maintain high living standards for tenants. Key Responsibilities Conduct property inspections to assess damp, mould, and disrepair issues, providing detailed reports and recommendations. Liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to arrange remedial works efficiently. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and housing standards. Work collaboratively with the maintenance and housing management teams to identify recurring issues and develop long-term solutions. Provide expert advice and guidance on damp, mould, and repair concerns to tenants and colleagues. Maintain accurate records and documentation using housing management systems. About You To be successful in this role, you should have: Experience in surveying, maintenance, or repairs within the housing sector. Knowledge of building pathology, particularly damp and mould-related issues. Strong understanding of housing legislation and health and safety regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with tenants and contractors. The ability to work independently, manage workloads, and prioritise effectively. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
