We are seeking an experienced Repairs Supervisor to oversee a small team of multi-skilled tradespeople delivering day-to-day repairs and maintenance across our social housing portfolio, this is a temp-to-perm opportunity.
This is a hands-on role combining technical surveying, supervision, scheduling, and people management to ensure repairs are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out pre inspections to diagnose issues, specify works, and schedule repairs
Supervise and line manage a small team of tradespeople, including day-to-day support, performance management, and attendance
Programme and schedule works efficiently to meet service targets and priorities
Monitor works in progress, providing technical guidance where required
Conduct post-inspections to ensure repairs meet quality, safety, and compliance standards
Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and company procedures
Liaise with tenants, colleagues, and other stakeholders to deliver a positive customer experience
Manage job records, reports, and systems accurately
Support continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and service delivery
Candidates should have experience of diagnosing repairs, managing operatives and quality checking work. Must be a good communicator and IT literate.
