Chippenham Up to £45,000 plus Company VehicleWe are looking for a motivated Asbestos Surveyor. The ideal candidate will hold a P402 certification and have at least 6 months of relevant experience. You will be responsible for carrying out asbestos surveys in various environments, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Taunton Up to £850 per dayElevate Projects are working in partnership with our client, a local housing provider, to appoint an experienced Costs Consultant to provide support and advice to the Capital Governance Board. Undertake a fundamental review of Capital Programme Expenditure and associated Funding streams, to identify opportunities for cost efficiencies, improved project management and forecasting and optimising funding streams. Review and strengthen the Capital Strategy, Capital Programme, and inter-relationships with the Treasury Management Strategy. Engage with Programme and Project Managers, Finance Business Partnering, Financial Strategy and Corporate Finance Colleagues to establish more robust project management, financial management, reporting, and accounting arrangements. The Role We are seeking a skilled Damp, Mould, Repairs Surveyor to join our clients property team on a temporary basis. You will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing damp and mould issues across the housing stock, ensuring effective solutions are implemented promptly to maintain high living standards for tenants. Key Responsibilities Conduct property inspections to assess damp, mould, and disrepair issues, providing detailed reports and recommendations. Liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to arrange remedial works efficiently. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and housing standards. Work collaboratively with the maintenance and housing management teams to identify recurring issues and develop long-term solutions. Provide expert advice and guidance on damp, mould, and repair concerns to tenants and colleagues. Maintain accurate records and documentation using housing management systems. About You To be successful in this role, you should have: Experience in surveying, maintenance, or repairs within the housing sector. Knowledge of building pathology, particularly damp and mould-related issues. Strong understanding of housing legislation and health and safety regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with tenants and contractors. The ability to work independently, manage workloads, and prioritise effectively.
